East is an arcade-style platformer game experiment made by Joe Pierce and Zach Hinchliffe in 2009. The goal of the game is to not go East, as going East instantly results in a game over. The player's score rapidly declines as one plays the game, and the value of the score determines the state of the world as a a whole. The lower the score, the more chaotic things become, and if things get bad enough, the player will slowly be pulled to the EAST.
